2017 in review

Welcome to March. 


It’s hard to believe we are nearly into the end of the first quarter! The evenings are getting darker and autumn is upon us even though this weather says differently. 


We thought we would share with you an overview of 2017 – the year that was for Wild Bamboo.

This offers an insight into what we have achieved over the year, including welcoming two new staff members, seven new customers, and continually improving and enhancing Recordbase.

Not to mention the increase in Recordbase activity:

  • 63,748 new client records (up from 38,841 in 2016)
  • 109,416 referrals (up from 102,976 in 2016)
  • 28,274 PRIMHD reviews completed (up from 16,393 in 2016)
  • 48,705 client outcomes completed (up from 41,067 in 2016).

We are all amped and raring to go for 2018, with some big goals around development and growth that we aim to achieve.


This month some of our team attended the Let’s talk: our communities, our health forum at Te Papa, and the NGO health and disability sector national forum in Wellington. Both events provided some great learning opportunities that we’re excited to bring back to the office – we’ll share our insights with you in next month’s blog. It’s positive to see the need to embrace technology and intuitive CMS systems within the sector. Getting out and about also gave us a fantastic opportunity to catch up with some of our customers, and introduce ourselves to potential customers.
